Ramón Caride Ogando (Cea, Ourense, 1957) is the author of fifteen books in a variety of genres, including novels, poetry, young adult narrative, and, especially since the publication of Os ollos da noite(1990), short story. He is the recipient of several literary prizes, among which are the Blanco Amor Award, Merlin Award, Dublin Cafe Award, City of Ourense Award, and the Fantastic Literature Award.
