Ardi, la ardilla voladora

La hermosa ardillita Ardi vivía junto a su familia en una enorme encina de un bosque tropical. A pesar de la importancia de recoger bellotas y otros frutos para almacenarlos como alimento de cara al frío invierno, Lolo, su hermano mayor, nunca quería ayudar, prefería jugar y corretear detrás de las aves. Sus padres le repetían una y otra vez que debía colaborar, pero no había manera de que hiciese caso. En cambio, Ardi sí se esforzaba en echar una mano. Aprendía constantemente de todo cuanto le decían. Como cuando su papá le explicó que, aunque no tuvieran alas, podían planear. ¡Y llegó el día en que los dos hermanos se pusieron a practicar! Había que saltar de rama en rama, siempre con un casco hecho a base de media cáscara de nuez, comprobando antes que no estuvieran águilas y serpientes acechando.
