The corpus of this Spanish painter born in the Philippines, Fernando Zóbel (Manila, 1924-Rome, 1984), was created over almost a decade and Rafael Pérez-Madero (deceased in 2020) collaborated in this. Personal secretary and one of the greatest experts in the work of Zóbel, he supervised the aforementioned until it was published. It brings together the entire pictorial production of Zóbel between 1946 and 1984, accounting for around two thousand oils on canvas. Together with the Azcona Foundation, the Juan March Foundation and the Ayala Foundation have been co-publishers, with the collaboration of Georgina and Alejandro Padilla Zóbel, niece and nephew, and inheritors of the artist. Ayala Foundation Inc., established in the Philippines in 1961 by the Zóbel family, is one of the pioneering foundations of the country.
