Among her main research areas are very young language learners (VYLL), plurilingual education, pre-K education, linguistic landscapes and its educational use and minority languages in educational contexts. 
Member of ELLMEnet, network that brings together individuals who are interested in early language learning.
Member of the R&D project: "Designing a teacher profile for Early Childhood Education from a plurilingual approach: learning foreign and additional languages in early childhood" from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. And of the European project "New-Gen Language Teachers: Empowering Language Teaching with Ethical AI-Enhanced Guidance". 
Recently published the book "Multilingual Pedagogies for Early Years: Theoretical Insights and Innovative Approaches, Peter Lang Editorial, 2024. And published the special issue "Richness of Linguistic Landscape in the classroom". Porta Linguarum, XII, 2025.
