Silvia Sánchez Calderón is an assistant professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Linguistics at the National University of Distance Education. She is specialized in linguistic theory as well as in bilingual and monolingual acquisition. Her main research field is based on the acquisition of complex predicates by English and Spanish bilingual and monolingual children. She has published in national and in international journals such as Atlantis (Sánchez Calderón and Fernández Fuertes 2018), Linguistic Approaches to Bilingualism (Fernández Fuertes and Sánchez Calderón 2020) or International Journal of Bilingualism and Bilingual Education (Sánchez Calderón and Fernández Fuertes 2019).
