I. la integración europea: antecedentes, constitución y evolución

En este capítulo, introductorio de esta obra, se realiza un acercamiento a la idea de Europa y su evolución, los grandes hitos normativos desde que se crearon las entonces Comunidades Europeas hasta la actualidad, las sucesivas ampliaciones hasta alcanzar los 27 Estados miembros de la Unión Europea actuales, así como una visión general de los objetivos que pretende este proyecto denominado Unión Europea. Junto a ello se incluyen una serie de materiales y recursos (cuestiones para reflexionar, fuentes normativas, jurisprudencia y bibliografía específica), que pretenden acercar al lector, brevemente, a esta realidad denominada Unión Europea y su evolución histórica. 

This introductory chapter explores the idea of ??Europe and its evolution, the major regulatory milestones since the creation of the then European Communities to the present day, the successive enlargements to reach the current 27 Member States of the European Union, as well as an overview of the objectives pursued by this project known as the European Union. Along with this, a series of materials and resources (issues for reflection, regulatory sources, case law, and specific bibliography) are included, intended to briefly introduce the reader to this reality known as the European Union and its historical evolution
