Viii. la dimensión interior de la ue: políticas y acciones internas

En este capítulo bajo el título genérico de ?La dimensión interna de la UE: políticas y acciones? se abordan tres ámbitos materiales de naturaleza y extensión muy diferente pero conexionados entre sí, a saber. En primer lugar, la creación y fases por las que ha atravesado el mercado interior desde los orígenes de las Comunidades Europeas hasta la actualidad, examinado las cuatro libertades básicas (mercancías, personas, servicios y capitales) sobre las que se sustenta. En segundo lugar, la constitución y evolución del llamado Espacio de Libertad, Seguridad y Justicia que se cimenta en la supresión de los controles de las fronteras interiores que supuso el Espacio Schengen, su auge y declive, Y, en tercer lugar como la UE ha articulado un complejo marco normativo institucional para desarrollar la cooperación judicial en materia civil, penal, y policial, prestando especial atención a los principios de confianza y mutuo reconocimiento expresados a través de la adopción de sucesivas ordenes europeas.

This chapter, under the generic title "The Internal Dimension of the EU: Policies and Actions," addresses three material areas of very different nature and scope, but interconnected, namely: first, the creation and phases of the internal market from the origins of the European Communities to the present day, examining the four basic freedoms (goods, persons, services, and capital) on which it is based; second, the constitution and evolution of the so-called Area of ??Freedom, Security and Justice, based on the abolition of internal border controls that marked the Schengen Area, its rise and decline; and third, how the EU has articulated a complex institutional regulatory framework to develop judicial cooperation in civil, criminal, and police matters, paying special attention to the principles of trust and mutual recognition expressed through the adoption of successive European Orders
