V. órganos secundarios de la unión europea

Este capítulo ofrece una visión general de los órganos secundarios de la Unión Europea que, sin duda, desempeñan funciones relevantes en el funcionamiento del sistema institucional europeo. En primer lugar, se abordan los órganos consultivos, como el Comité Económico y Social y el Comité de las Regiones, que representan a distintos sectores de la sociedad civil. A continuación, se analizan órganos secundarios como el Banco Europeo de Inversiones, subrayando sus funciones principales. Finalmente, se describen aquellos organismos interinstitucionales y agencias especializadas de la Unión Europea que se han considerado más relevantes, como CERT-EU, Frontex, HERA y la Agencia Europea de Defensa, que cumplen funciones técnicas o de ejecución en áreas estratégicas como la seguridad, la salud pública o la defensa. El capítulo está orientado a facilitar la comprensión y el aprendizaje de aquellos órganos secundarios que forman parte de las instituciones de la Unión Europea.

This chapter provides an overview of the secondary bodies of the European Union, which undoubtedly play an important role in the functioning of the EU´s institutional system. It first examines the consultative bodies, such as the Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions, which represent various sectors of civil society. It then analyzes secondary bodies such as the European Investment Bank, highlighting their main functions. Finally, it describes key interinstitutional bodies and specialized agencies of the European Union that have been considered most relevant, such as CERT-EU, Frontex, HERA and the European Defence Agency, which carry out technical or executive tasks in strategic areas including security, public health, and defense. The chapter aims to facilitate understanding and learning about these secondary bodies that complement the institutions of the European Union.
